How fudging a recipe can actually save you calories (Nutrition Hack)

For this installment of “Nutrition Hack,” Ryan Rogers, Fitness Quest 10 Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach, wants you to cheat! Now before you go and wolf down a pizza, let us explain.

Recipes often call for a certain amount of oil, fat, and sugar. Sometimes you can cut down the amount of those ingredients and make your item a little lower in calories and a little healthier, while not affecting the taste or texture of the recipe too much.

You have to experiment with different recipes, however, because this won’t work with everything. Try it in small doses when you don’t have a dinner party to prepare for and see how much excess you can remove from some of your favorite recipes.
