    Yes, I do strength-training. I want to build some muscle mass, so I do both concentric and eccentric. Andy Galpin has done some research on building muscle v. strength, and you can hear about it here:
    Basically, if you want to build mainly strength, you might want to do three reps as heavy as you can, and only the concentric movement.

    I do some strength training mixed with suspension  training to complement my triathlon workouts.

    I’ve been doing strength training since I started swimming in college 3.5 years ago. I notice my speed on the bike and in the water increase as my strength increases
