The 6 Drivers of Neural Plasticity and Strength Training

I hear a lot of people talk about neurological adaptations to strength. It’s usually said to be the reason they are getting stronger without getting any bigger, and, while this is true, I’ve never found this to be a satisfying descriptor.

Neural plasticity is the process by which the nervous system adapts to the demands place don it. There are 6 behavioral signals that drive neural plasticity and in this video I describe how each of these signals relates to strength training and how they contribute to the development of “neural drive.”
