For over a decade I rolled through life’s motions instead of living life. I experienced depression. I was an emotional eater and neglected physical activity. My physical exterior was deteriorating and my soul was also.
In March of 2015 I committed to prioritizing my health for myself and my family. I’m not going to lie, it was a challenge for the first nine months.
As 2015 came to a close, I had lost twenty pounds, but it wasn’t enough. I rang in the New Year vowing to work harder. A sudden and traumatic event occurred shortly after the New Year. I prayed to God asking for his guidance and he delivered. 2016 was the beginning of my new life. I lost an additional fifty five pounds while taking control of my nutrition and fitness. I also become a physical trainer to coach and help improve the lives and health of others. Through that process, I gained immense inner strength and peace.
