This workout is the perfect start to how to use the fitball or if you are specifically looking for a fitball strength builder. You will start with precise and small movements over top the ball targeting the abs and spine, using the ball to give you focused feedback to what is happening in your body and from where you are moving. Mobilize the spine from extension into flexion. Move into unilateral work challenging your asymmetries and imbalances to help bring more balance into the body and teach you how to work from your center and pull everything back in to your center. Use the ball to increase the difficulty, intensity and precision of where you feel the work, getting deep into the abs. No fitball challenge would be complete without plank ! Find your core, pelvic floor, glutes, inner thighs (adductors), lats, anterior serratus (scapula muscle πŸ˜‰ and obliques balancing up in space moving from plank to pike and even lifting one leg off the ball ! This is a fitness inspired Pilates workout. You will finish more centered and balanced, with a stronger core, stronger abs and better postural alignment. Have fun and remember if you want more, come back as many times as you like and repeat. Repetition and practice is what makes us stronger and helps us achieve our fitness goals !
