Anastasiia Ziubina, Ekaterina Pykhtova and Elena Ivanova won the first Trio title for Russia. The trio relied on excellent Artistry and Execution to take gold by just .116, with two Chinese squads in the other medal positions. Top qualifiers Michela Castoldi and Davide Donati (ITA) delivered a passionate, emotional performance to win their second Mixed Pairs World title.
