Instead of just repping out sets of push-ups to reach fatigue, I find it more useful and less damaging on the joints to slow it down and stick to a tempo. Pausing at the bottom is my favorite and ideal for anyone with powerlifting goals.

I like to do 7,7,7 reps at 3111 tempo going from Wide, Power, to Narrow stance. The different stances help with starting and finishing power for the bench. The easiest exercise to do when traveling and the hotel room is the only option. Enjoy the training!
