5 Minute Fat Burning Abs Workout At Home #1 [How To Get A Six Pack]

List of exercises and tips:

Mountain Climbers

This is an effective total bodyweight workout. Begin in plank position, with your hands a little wider than shoulder-width apart. Bring one knee toward the opening of your hands and push it back, then bring the opposite knee toward the opening of your hands. You will look like you are running in place. Be sure to keep your back in plank position, while squeezing your abs and avoid your hips and rear from rising up toward the ceiling.

Plank

This exercise works your core, arms, back, everything! Start in a push up position, then lower your forearms to the floor. Your back should remain flat and your neck in neutral spine position. Hold that for 30 seconds, while squeezing your entire body. These can also be done from the knees.

Bicycle Crunches

Six pack here you come! Lie flat on the floor on your back. Put fingertips to either side of your head, avoid pulling on your head to raise your body up as this puts too much strain on your neck muscles. You will move your legs in the air as if you are riding a bicycle. So one leg will be out straight and not touching the floor, while the other will bend at a 90 degree angle. Raise your shoulders off of the ground and touch your opposite elbow to the leg that is raised. Lower that leg and raise the other one, rotating your body to touch your other elbow to the opposite leg.

Scissor Kicks

An excellent workout for your oblique core muscles. Lie flat on your back with your hands to your side, palms down. Lift your legs up to a 45 degree angle, keeping your lower back flat to the floor. Lower one leg to the floor, but do not touch the floor, lift it up and lower the opposite leg. Repeat. Your hands should remain on the floor for stability. For the beginner workout you may need to bend your knees more.

Ankle Touches

This is an excellent abs workout. Lie flat on your back with your knees bent. Raise your shoulders off of the ground in a crunch, squeezing down on your abs. You will move your body side to side touching your ankles. You can touch the inside or outside of your ankle, whichever is more comfortable.

Pulse Ups

This exercise will work your abs like crazy! Begin by lying flat on your back and raise your legs to a 90 degree angle. Your hands should be flat on the floor by your sides. You will tighten your abs and lift your rear off the floor, forcing your feet to pulse up in the air. For the beginner workout, you may need bend your knees.

Plank

This exercise works your core, arms, back, everything! Perfect for a total body workout. Start in a push up position, then lower your forearms to the floor. Your back should remain flat and your neck in neutral spine position. Hold that for 30 seconds, while squeezing your entire body. These can also be done from the knees.
