To perform the Unbalanced Ab Training Drill athletes will need a set of KB Powerbands, with the proper amount of resistance, a properly inflated Kbands Training Stability Ball, and a partner or sturdy object to anchor the KB Powerbands. Once the upper body resistance bands are anchored athletes will attach a handle to their side of the KB Powerbands, sit on the stability ball, walk forward until the stability ball is on their upper back, and raise their hips until they are parallel to the ground. Athletes will then grasp the handle with both hands and extend their arms toward the ceiling until they are completely straight. Athletes will pinch the shoulder blades back and down, keep the arms straight and in line with the chest, then rotate the hands to the side. Athletes should keep their abs tight and force the abs to rotate the body, not the arms or shoulders. Complete 3-5 sets of 8-12 repetitions on each arm while allowing 45-60 seconds of rest between sets.
