Brutal 10 Minute Heavy Bag Workout – At Home Full Body Fat Loss

We all know HIIT is great for fat loss. It increases EPOC, which is essentially when your body is in an oxygen debt. This debt can last for up to 24 hours after HIIT. Raising this oxygen debt to homeostasis levels uses energy thus burns calories long after the workout has finished. This is known as the afterburn effect, according to Mike Chang.

Did you know nearly every exercise can be HIIT? All you need is intense spurts of activity followed by rest.

Today, we are going to be beating the hell out of a heavy bag in quick, intense rounds of 30 seconds. To decrease your aggression, find a photo of someone you don’t like and paste their face onto the heavy bag.

For beginners, use a 1 to 1 rest ratio. This means if you work for 30 seconds, your rest period will also be 30 seconds.

To make it more intense, you can shorten the rest period or add exercises during the rest period that aren’t heavily taxing. This will allow you to get some more work in but not fatigue you for the next round.

The point of this video is that HIIT doesn’t have to be just sprints of stationary biking. It can be whatever you want it to be. All you need to do is have intense rounds of exercise followed by rest. Get creative and have fun with it.
