I do cardio every day (on days I do leg workouts I just do a brisk walk for a long period), and I do weight training every other day

I’d say if you don’t have time to do both, choose cardio. It’s being in debt. If you can’t afford to contribute to your 401k AND reduce debt, reduce the debt first. I personally reduce the rest time between sets to compress my weight lifting portion (also burns more cals by keeping heart rate up) so that I have time to get in my cardio afterwards. Be active on rest days. Push yourself harder on cardio only days if you choose them.

Resistance training is the 401k of fat loss.

If you just do cardio you will just become a skinny version of yourself. You won’t have decent muscle tone so you’ll look skinny fat. You need, at the very least, some calisthenics to tone your muscles.

Me over here, all put out not only do I have FAT to lose, there’s different KINDS of fat I gotta get off me. Dang, that’s some harsh news this morning! But thanks for the great video, very interesting and informative as always!
