My thoughts on regular body recomposition (without a clear “bulk or cut” goal):
In part 3 of “Effective Nutrition for Body Recomposition” I discuss goal setting – prioritizing a clear, short-term goal – which will eventually lead to your ultimate long-term goal.
So, should you bulk (focus on gaining muscle through a positive energy balance // aka a calorie surplus) or should you cut (focus on fat loss through a negative energy balance // aka a calorie deficit)? This will mostly depend on your starting physique (and goal).
