SQUAT CLEANS To MAXIMIZE Strength | Crossfit EMOM Workout

So you’ve mastered the power clean and want to go heavier. What next? Well, if you want to ensure that you get underneath that nasty, heavy bar, then it’s time to get low using a SQUAT CLEAN.

Squat Cleans—-add a speed and a coordination component to the movement, which is not used in the power clean. In order to get underneath a heavy bar, squat cleans require faster hip and elbow turnover than a power clean.

Squat cleans add a higher demand on speed, footwork, and hip mobility. Bottom line, if you want to pull HEAVIER weights, get STRONGER, and increase your ATHLETICISM….SQUAT CLEAN!!

This workout consists of a 10 minute EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute)
Minutes 0-5 Complete 3 Reps
Minutes 5-10 Complete Heavy Singles
