Strength Training Advice – How to increase your deadlift to 405 pounds

Are you trying to increase your deadlift? I know I always have.

The first piece of advice I would give to someone trying to increase their deadlift would be similar to the advice in my previous video about benching.

Follow a linear progression program. Just keep improving.

My second piece of advice is to work on your weakness. You should be able to find out which part of the deadlift is the most difficult. For me, breaking the weight off the floor for the deadlift is my weakness.

So, how did I increase my deadlift strength off the floor? By doing more deficit deadlifts.

Keep working hard. Stay patient. Stay humble.
