This is the first instalment of my nutrition and diet series. Every week I will talk about nutrition and diet that supports your training performance or give you an easy, delicious and diet-friendly recipe. For the first week you get both!
Here I talk briefly about my own diet, what it is, how it looks and what are my goals with it. My nutrition is primarily focussed on improving my performance. So at the moment I plan to loose 5 kg in order to be lighter, and thus, quicker with my Karate movements. Since I’m still in my competition season I keep my calories quite high and focus my carbs around my workouts in order to have energy for my training.
