The Strength Factory Approach No1: Aerobic Conditioning.

This video briefly explains my approach to developing fitness in action sports athletes and the general public. In a world obsessed with high intensity and where the value of a ‘workout’ is measured by how savage it was, my approach to conditioning is a bit different to the mainstream.
By building an aerobic foundation of fitness it allows higher intensity and higher quality training of the other physical capabilities: Sprinting and lactate threshold.
Without aerobic fitness you may get some short term results and gains, but over the long term the lack of aerobic conditioning will catch up with you when you burn out mid-season, when your training drops off or when you can’t recover between events.
This is the approach that I use for all of my athletes, allowing them to carry out high quality and high intensity training that is built on a broad aerobic foundation.
